I have always been someone that is motivated by meaningful quotes, scripture, poems, movie lines, etc... Back in my work life, I had little bits of paper pinned to my bulletin board or taped to my computer monitor with messages that meant something to me. I want to share my favorites with you during our time together on my page. May they give you inspiration or help you through a tough day. So here we go...time for some Wednesday wisdom.
"Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use."
- Earl Nightingale, author, speaker
One of my favorite activities to help with at my kid's school is their cross country team. I've been an assistant coach for 4 years. I often think of this quote when I am talking to runners at the starting line. The kids are often fearful they will get too tired or cramp up. Physical limits are sometimes a reality, but in most cases, they are just overthinking the race. Before they know it, the race will be over. The time would have passed; so give it your all and have no regrets.

Don't let fear stop you from trying something or giving it your all. The time is going to pass and that fear can easily become regret.
